THE DESIGN BRIEF
An idea, thoughtfully explored.
Imagine a pool that visually extends the terrace towards the water beyond. The concept brings a long infinity edge into a generous stone setting, leaving room for dining, lounging and a quiet garden pavilion. The palette is restrained so the light and water do most of the work.

A purposeful edge
The disappearing waterline is the defining design idea. A real project would need the edge structure, collection system, balance tank and equipment access developed together.
Space around the water
The surrounding terrace is part of the brief, not leftover space. Circulation between villa doors, seating and the garden should remain comfortable.

A property-specific survey would review levels, services, access and the applicable approval route before confirming the proposed arrangement.

Resolve the view and the levels together
The visual ambition is an uninterrupted connection between the terrace, pool and distant water. A property-specific design would begin by testing that relationship from the main rooms and outdoor seating areas.
The survey and specialist design would establish the actual levels, edge arrangement and associated system spaces. The concept image expresses an intention; it does not determine what can be constructed at a particular villa.
Make the hidden system part of the brief
The edge, water collection, circulation and equipment need a coordinated specification. The equipment location and service access would be reviewed alongside the terrace layout.
Material samples, lighting and surrounding landscape choices would then be developed against that agreed technical brief, with responsibilities recorded in the project proposal.
